Partnering with Safer Together to deliver Assist and Assure Safety Leadership Training
HSB Resources, in partnership with Safer Together, facilitate the Assist and Assure program. Assist and Assure fosters open, engaging safety conversations to help employees and contractors work more safely while ensuring consistent, effective communication for improved safety outcomes. It is a way of working to proactively identify and mitigate risk in work preparation and execution.
Supervisor Safety Training for Line Supervisors, Operational Leaders and HSSE Function
This training focuses on the role of the front-line safety leaders/supervisors. It provides examples of how to run engaging transition to work meetings, and how to have effective ‘Step 7’ conversations.
It also covers key Safety Leadership skills required for effective supervision:
- Influence behaviours, give praise, be curious
- Human and organisational performance, learner mindset, psychological safety
- Facilitation and coaching skills
- Effective interventions
- Example of self-assure for Assist and Assure
What is HSB Frontline Connect?
Our online platform HSB Frontline Connect is a digital tool that aids in measuring and monitoring the progress of implementation of frontline engagement tools such as Assist and Assure.
Safer Together provides training and resources to help Member Companies implement this approach, which proactively identifies and mitigates risks in work preparation and execution, aiming to prevent harm on the front line.
